There are many ways for individuals and organizations to support the sight-saving mission of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank.
Anyone can sign up to be an eye, organ and tissue donor. Click here to learn more and to register your decision on your state registry.
We've partnered with The Conversation Project to bring you resources to not only talk about eye, organ and tissue donation but all your end-of-life wishes. Talking with your loved ones openly and honestly, before a medical crisis happens, gives everyone a shared understanding about what matters most to you at the end of life. You can name RMLEB as a beneficiary on your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). It's a relatively simple process- contact the company that manages your IRA to request a Change of Beneficiary form. On this form, you can designate the percent to leave to RMLEB and loved ones. Please speak with your financial advisor, attorney, or estate planning professional for details.
Sight Saver members are individuals who have made a one-time contribution of $120 or more OR have fulfilled a pledge of $10/month or more for a fiscal year. Contributions made by individuals are the largest source of fundraising revenue at RMLEB. Many find personal fulfillment in supporting the eye bank’s sight-restoring mission outside of their club’s contributions. Members are able to proudly display support with a commemorative pin, pictured to the left.
Guardians of Light Society members make lasting and meaningful gifts through their wills and estate plans. Guardians ensure the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank’s financial strength far into the future. Guardians receive the pin pictured on the left to show their support of the eye bank.
