The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank was founded by the Lions of Colorado and Wyoming in 1982. RMLEB's mission is to fulfill the wishes of eye donors and their families to help another overcome blindness through transplantation and research. JOB TITLE: Employee Development and Wellbeing Manager
LOCATION OF POSITION: Aurora Office
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $66,600-80,000 per year, exempt.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or greater than 5 years’ work experience directly in HR with specific experience as defined below.HR certifications (PHR, SPHR) highly desired and preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Experience working for or with a non-profit organization is preferred. At least three years working independently with decision making responsibility or supervisory level in human resources is preferred. Related equivalent experience will be viewed favorably. Manager must be proficient with Microsoft office products. Manager must have excellent verbal & written communication to include excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and delegate when appropriate. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are very important. The manager must act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality and possess thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Employee Development and Wellbeing Manager will lead, and direct Human Resources (HR) functions related to and including staffing recruitment, employee development, staff well-being, components of some employee benefits, and training. Consistency in following and enforcing company personnel policies and practices is required. The Manager works with the Executive Director & the management team to address workplace employee and labor details or issues. The Manager must be a member of the leadership team and priorities must be with supporting the leadership team through which development and maintenance of people focused employee wellbeing programs will be a primary focus.
